ASUS Releases Prime 750W Gold and 850W Gold Power Supplies

ASUS has announced the launch of the Prime 750W Gold and Prime 850W Gold power supplies, designed to provide reliability for mainstream DIY users. These new offerings are the inaugural power supplies in the Prime series, continuing the elegant and understated design of the Prime AP201 case and the Prime Z790-A WiFi motherboard. They conform to the ATX 3.0 standard and come with an eight-year warranty.

ASUS has employed a stylish outer-space-themed design in the Prime Gold series, using a black-and-white color contrast that has wide-ranging applicability for hardware style matching. Some enthusiasts might find this design familiar as it has been utilized not only in the Prime series cases and motherboard products but also in the latest Dual GeForce RTX 4070 OC and Dual GeForce RTX 4070 White OC graphics cards.

The Prime 750W Gold and Prime 850W Gold encapsulate all features of high-quality power supplies. They are equipped with dual ball-bearing fans to maintain cool operation and enhance durability. With their fully modular design, users can construct their system using only the necessary cables, reducing clutter within the case. In line with many recent comparable products, the Prime 750W Gold and Prime 850W Gold provide a native 12VHPWR interface supporting 600W power output, fully compatible with Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 40 series graphics cards. This further reduces the use of adapters and optimizes assembly space.

ASUS seems intent on developing a product line with an integrated series style, centered around the motherboard series layout. Last year, ASUS launched the TUF Gaming series power supplies, emphasizing the product’s durability and lifespan, aiming at gaming PC builds. This aligns with the promotional direction of the TUF Gaming series motherboard products.

ASUS has not yet disclosed pricing for the Prime 750W Gold and Prime 850W Gold, nor specific release dates.
