ASRock Intel 600/700 series motherboards support 24/48GB DDR5 memory

ASRock announced that its Intel 600/700 series motherboards already support 24GB and 48GB DDR5 memory, which means that the maximum memory capacity of motherboards equipped with 4 DIMMs will be increased from 128GB to 192GB. The maximum memory capacity of the motherboard with 2 DIMMs has been increased from 64GB to 96GB, providing performance and compatibility for PC enthusiasts.

In order to obtain the best performance, ASRock recommends that users in need choose to update the BIOS to improve system performance and memory capacity and meet the productivity needs of multi-tasking applications with high memory requirements. With the previous MSI and Gigabyte, plus this time ASRock, more and more motherboard manufacturers have announced support for 24GB and 48GB DDR5 memory.

A few days ago, Corsair’s first batch of DDR5 memory with a single capacity of 24GB and 48GB has been put on the e-commerce platform, which belongs to the Vengeance series. Divided into RGB and non-RGB versions, the clock is 5600MHz, providing 48GB and 96GB packages, supporting Intel XMP 3.0 technology. This is the first batch of DDR5 memory with a single capacity of 24GB and 48GB on the market, but the current price is a bit high.
In the past few months, both SK Hynix and Micron have successively announced the new generation of DDR5-5600, which will provide a single memory with a capacity of 24GB and 48GB. Coupled with more and more motherboard manufacturers announcing their support, it is believed that after CORSAIR, more brands will launch similar products.
