AMD Ryzen 9 7945HX appeared in Geekbench 5

Although there are already a number of mini PCs or laptops equipped with AMD 7000 series mobile processors on the market, most of them are equipped with processors using the Zen3 architecture. The Ryzen 7045 series and 7040 series with Zen4 architecture are obviously more attractive to consumers. Recently, the Geekbench 5 score of the AMD Ryzen 9 7945HX processor has been leaked.

The AMD Ryzen 9 7945HX has a single-core score of 2127 points and a multi-core score of 19403 points. For comparison, the Core i9-13900HX single-core score is about 2020 points, and the multi-core score is about 20900 points. The Ryzen 9 7945HX has a slightly stronger single-core score and a slightly weaker multi-core score. Overall, the performance of the two is at the same level.

The laptop model equipped with this processor is ROG Zephyrus Duo 16, which is a high-performance dual-screen gaming notebook owned by ASUS.
Ryzen 9 7945HX adopts Zen4 architecture, 16 cores, and 32 threads design, a base clock of 2.5GHz, a boost clock of 5.4GHz, an L2 cache of 16MB, an L3 cache of 64MB, a default TDP of 55W. The iGPU is a Radeon 610M, equipped with 2 CUs, a total of 128 stream processors, the base clock is 400MHz, and the boost clock is 2200MHz.

The Ryzen 7045 series is aimed at mobile workstations and high-end, enthusiast gaming notebooks. It is the first time AMD has provided 16-core and 32-thread products on a mobile platform.
