Apple will update the 2023 iMac with M3 processor

According to Bloomberg’ Mark Gurman, Apple is still planning an iMac model with a larger screen and higher computing performance, which may become a successor product that continues the design of the iMac Pro.

Last year, Apple launched an iMac with an M1 processor, a 23-inch screen, and a new design. Since then, no updated products have been launched, and even the large-size screen specifications that have been rumored in the market have not appeared.

According to Mark Gurman, Apple is still preparing to launch iMac models with larger screen sizes and a substantial increase in computing performance, which will be built for the needs of the professional market. However, this iMac may directly use the M3 processor and is planned to be launched in 2023.

In related speculations, Mark Gurman has never mentioned the iMac equipped with the M2 processor, which may mean that Apple will focus on the MacBook series and the Mac Mini series in the Mac model update this year. At the same time, the focus of the update in the second half of the year is expected to be on the rumored new Mac Pro, so as to complete the goal of completing the transition from Intel processors to Apple silicon processors.
