Apple will launch the 4G version of the iPhone 12 in 2021
Although almost all new mobile phones released by smartphone manufacturers in the world have added support for 5G networks, in fact, the construction of 5G networks on our planet is not as fast as some people think, and there is no 5G network support in many places. Recently, Wedbush securities analyst published a research report in the Business Insider magazine. The research report pointed out that Apple is planning to launch a 4G version of the iPhone 12 in 2021. It is expected that the price will be much cheaper than the 5G version of the iPhone 12.
Apple’s move is naturally taking into account that there is no 5G network support in some parts of the world at present and in the next two or three years, and the sale of 5G mobile phones that consumers cannot use in this region will naturally affect the sales of products, due to the higher price relative to 4G mobile phones.
If Apple really launches an iPhone 12 with only 4G network support, then this means that the iPhone 12 family will have 5 major versions this year, namely the 4G version of the iPhone 12 and the iPhone 12 with 5G support, iPhone 12 Max, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max.
