Apple is currently experimenting with a design for 32-inch iMac

According to a report by Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman, Apple is currently experimenting with a design for an iMac model equipped with a 32-inch display. However, this endeavor remains in its nascent stages, and it is anticipated that this product will not be launched until late 2024 or 2025.

Historically, Apple has released iMac models with 23-inch and 27-inch designs. However, after the introduction of the 24-inch iMac powered by the Apple Silicon processor, no larger screen variants have been released, despite persistent rumors suggesting plans for a 30-inch model or larger.

Following the unveiling of the 24-inch iMac at the Spring Launch Event in April 2021, Apple has not introduced any updated versions. Instead, the focus has shifted towards the Mac Studio, as well as the updated Mac Mini, accompanied by the release of the new external display, Studio Display.

Given current market sentiment, Apple is projected to release a larger iMac display, equipped with an Apple Silicon M3 processor, designed using TSMC’s 3nm process. This upgrade is expected to provide a substantial enhancement to processing performance.
