AMD is rumored to release the Radeon RX 6500 graphics card in May

AMD also launched the RX 6400 graphics card that also uses the Navi 24 GPU when it launched the RX 6500XT. RX 6400 has a complete set of 16 CUs and uses 18Gbps video memory, while RX 6500XT has only 12 sets of CUs with 16Gbps video memory. Currently, the RX 6400 is only shipped to the OEM market, but it may appear in the retail market as the RX 6500 later.

According to the latest news from @greymon55, AMD may launch the Radeon RX 6500 graphics card in May this year. It is essentially an overclocked version of the RX 6400, and the GPU specifications remain the same, namely 6nm Navi 24, 768 stream processors. It is also equipped with 4GB 64bit GDDR6 memory, but I don’t know if it will be upgraded to 18Gbps. The price is estimated to be $130. I don’t know if it will have a 6pin power supply interface.

In addition, @greymon55 also mentioned that the desktop version of the RX 6x50XT graphics card will arrive in June to July, which is actually a higher clock version of the Radeon RX 6000 graphics card. At present, the RX 6850M XT on the notebook is such a product. The clock of the memory is increased from the original 16Gbps to 18Gbps, and the core clock of the GPU is also higher. However, the GPU itself has not upgraded the process technology, and it is still TSMC’s 7nm.

AMD is expected to launch multiple models of RX 6x50XT graphics cards, and AMD may launch its first RDNA 3 GPU in a few months after this update.
