Xiaomi flip phone patent reveals new clamshell folding screen

According to the information released by CNIPA (China National Intellectual Property Administration), Xiaomi’s flip phone patent (patent number 2020301357510) adopts a flip design that is similar to the design of the Huawei P50 Pocket and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3. At the bottom, there is a SIM card slot, a USB-C port, and a speaker/microphone, while the power button and volume control buttons are on the right side of the Xiaomi folding screen.

There is no more news about Xiaomi’s new clamshell folding screen, but I believe Xiaomi will take action soon. After all, more and more manufacturers are entering the game, making the competition in the folding screen market more intense.
