Windows 10 20H2 market share has just exceeded 10%

Windows 10 20H2 is the latest version, but the market adoption rate is not high. The main reason is that Microsoft did not push the version on a large scale.

In fact, Microsoft has announced the suspension of the push of this version very early. In Microsoft’s words, it is necessary to analyze the feedback data to ensure the stability of this version. Of course, we deeply doubt this statement. After all, even if the feedback data is analyzed to ensure stability, it takes months.

Until now, Microsoft has not announced that it has begun to push Windows 10 20H2 on a large scale, and Microsoft has not disclosed more information about it.

According to data released by AdDuplex, the Windows 10 20H2 market share has just exceeded 10% to 13.9%, and the adoption rate last month was 8.8%.

Although there has been significant growth, there is still a big gap with other versions. Usually, these new versions will quickly cover and adopt more than 50%.

Considering that the Windows 10 20H2 version itself is just a small update, it doesn’t make much sense to users to perform quick push changes.

Perhaps Microsoft thought the same way so it did not push the version quickly, and the new version to be launched next spring is also a small version update.

These versions don’t have many new features, so users don’t need to look forward to it. After all, the new version may have intractable bugs that may affect normal use.

In terms of new features, Windows 10 20H1 version is a major update, and the previous Windows 10 19H2 version is also just a minor update.

What’s interesting is that the adoption rate of the 19H2 version is actually very high. Even if it has been released for more than a year, the adoption rate of this version is still around 32.2%.

The 20H1 version currently has the highest adoption rate of 40.4%. For users, stability is of course the most important thing, so if your current 19H2/20H1 version is stable enough, it doesn’t matter if you don’t upgrade.
