The 2022 Game Awards is scheduled for December 8

The Game Awards (TGA), known as the Oscar selection in the game industry, was held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles last year. Notable personalities such as Keanu Reeves and Carrie Anne-Moss, Jim Carrey and Ben Schwartz, Guillermo del Toro and Hideo Kojima, Simu Liu, Ming-Na Wen, Giancarlo Esposito, and more were featured at the event, which was watched by an estimated 85 million people worldwide.

This year, The Game Awards will celebrate its ninth year. The official said that the awards ceremony will be held on December 8, 2022, and the venue will still be the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. In addition, this year’s The Game Awards will add a new award, Best Adaptation, to recognize creative work that adapts video games into other media such as movies, shows, podcasts and books.

Unlike last year, this year’s The Game Awards is likely to have a live event, of course, it needs to follow the instructions of the local health and epidemic prevention section, and event tickets will be on sale later this year.
