Some AMD RAID drivers are not compatible with Windows 10 V1903

Microsoft has added new device input and device output requirements for certain categories of drivers in the official version of Windows 10 Version 1903. This means that hardware developers must update such drivers for good compatibility, and Microsoft will automatically block upgrades for incompatible drivers. For example, drivers for AMD RAID V9.2.0.105 and earlier are not compatible, and users must download updates and upgrade drivers in a timely manner.

Windows 10 Version 1903 cannot be installed on some AMD PCs and Microsoft has prevented users from attempting to upgrade. Users may receive the following prompt when trying to upgrade: This driver will be disabled. Please contact your software or driver provider for a newer version. This situation mainly occurs on the AMD platform, and some versions of the AMD RAID driver cannot install the latest version due to incompatibility issues. If the user is using AMD RAID V9.2.0.105 and earlier, they will not receive the Windows 10 Version 1903 Update. Users need to upgrade their drivers first.

The reason AMD indicates incompatibility in the support documentation is that Microsoft has added new input and output requirements for certain drivers in the new version. At present, the company has produced and released a new version of the driver according to Microsoft’s new requirements. Users only need to install a new version to update the upgrade system. This driver is for SATA/NVMe RAID. You can download it here. After the user installs the new driver and restarts the system, you can receive the push of Windows 10 Version 1903.
