SK hynix will introduce memory products at CES 2023
SK hynix announced that it will participate in CES 2023, which will be held in Las Vegas, USA from January 5 to 8 next year, which is the world’s largest electronics and IT exhibition. During the period, main memory products and new product lineups will be displayed.
At this CES exhibition, SK hynix will focus on a “carbon-free future”, products that significantly reduce carbon emissions, and at the same time, display the theme of “green digital solution”. SK hynix said that the product lineup released this time not only reduces environmental impact but also greatly improves performance and efficiency compared with the previous generation.
SK Hynix has confirmed the product lineup for CES 2023, including a series of enterprise-level SSDs, CXL memory, GDDR6, and HBM3 products, etc., strengthening its position as a leading company in the server memory market. Among them, the enterprise-level SSD is PS1010 E3.S, which is a product built with 176-layer 4D NAND and supports the PCIe 5.0 standard. Compared with the previous generation of products, the read and write speeds can be increased by up to 130% and 49% respectively, and the energy consumption ratio has also been improved by more than 75%, which is expected to reduce customers’ server operating costs and carbon emissions.
For high-performance computing (HPC), SK hynix not only provides the highest performance HBM3 but also GDDR6-AiM with added computing functions and PIM technology, and CXL memory that can flexibly expand memory capacity and performance.”We’re proud to launch PS1010, an ultrahigh-performance product with self-developed controller and firmware, at the CES 2023, the world’s largest technology show,” Yun Jae Yeun, Head of NAND Product Planning, said. “This product will solve pain point of our server-chip customers, while paving the way for a stronger competitiveness in NAND business for us.”
