Ryzen Threadripper Pro 5000 WX series processors are available in retail markets

AMD actually released the Ryzen Threadripper Pro 5000 WX series processors as early as March this year. However, this product was exclusively used by Lenovo for a long time and was used on its ThinkStation P620 workstation. In early June, Dell also launched a workstation Precision 7865 using this processor. Not long after that, AMD announced that the Ryzen Threadripper Pro 5000 WX series processors would be available to the world’s leading system integrators in July, as well as the DIY market.


These processors are now available in retail markets. The Ryzen Threadripper Pro 5000 WX series is a very huge processor. The first batch of Ryzen Threadripper Pro 5000 WX has three models, including the 24-core 48-thread Threadripper Pro 5965WX, with a base clock of 3.8GHz, a boost clock of 4.5GHz, and a 128MB L3 cache, priced at $2,399; Threadripper Pro 5975WX with 32 cores and 64 threads, base clock 3.5GHz, boost clock 4.2GHz, 128MB L3 cache, priced at $3299; The 64-core 128-thread Threadripper Pro 5995WX has a base clock of 2.7GHz, a boost clock of 4.5GHz, and a 256MB L3 cache and price is $6,499.
