PNY and Cooler Master team up for the new RTX 4090 Verto graphics card
At the dawn of this year, ASUS and Noctua once again joined forces, announcing the launch of the GeForce RTX 4080 Noctua Edition, continuing their mutual collaboration. The overall dimensions of this formidable piece of hardware are 310 x 145 x 87.5 mm, equipped with two Noctua NF-A12x25 fans. To make room for the fans and an improved heat dissipation module, considerations for low noise, high thermal performance, and smooth acoustic characteristics have led to an increase in thickness to 4.3 slots.
According to VideoCardz, PNY, and Cooler Master have collaboratively developed a new GeForce RTX 4090 graphics card, christened the “VERTO ARGB Dual Fan”. The card sports an all-black aesthetic, adorned with two 12 cm fans developed by Cooler Master, reaching an impressive thickness of 4.5 slots.
Despite being a flagship model, this new graphics card isn’t excessively long, measuring a reasonable 30.5 cm. However, its thickness of 8.9 cm surpasses even that of the GeForce RTX 4080 Noctua Edition, attributable to both cards employing 12 cm fans, suggesting a similar design philosophy. The GPU performance of the product developed by PNY in collaboration with Cooler Master is ostensibly stronger. It remains uncertain which specific model of Cooler Master fan is used, or whether it is a custom-developed model, although it seems to resemble the Mobius 120P ARGB 30th Anniversary Edition fan.
Unlike the GeForce RTX 4080 Noctua Edition, which is a mature product already on sale, the graphics card being collaboratively developed by PNY and Cooler Master is still in the conceptual and prototype testing phase. Whether it will ultimately emerge in the retail market is yet to be confirmed. Given the current pace of development, if there is sufficient market interest, PNY, and Cooler Master are likely to expedite the process, launching this product posthaste.
