NVIDIA warms up the Ada Lovelace architecture

Nvidia has previously announced that it will hold a special “GeForce Beyond” livestream on September 20, which is almost certainly related to the new generation of Ada Lovelace architecture GPUs. As time draws near, Nvidia has released a new teaser.

There is also some other interesting hidden information in the notice, such as the numbers marked on the post-it notes, which may include the size of the AD102 chip (629mm²) and the number of transistors (75.38 billion). The first number, 208, is uncertain for the time being, and it may mean that its performance is 208% of the previous generation.

The event is rumored to involve three GeForce RTX 40-series graphics cards, the GeForce RTX 4090, and the 12GB and 16GB versions of the GeForce RTX 4080. The GeForce RTX 4090 will likely be available in October, while the 12GB and 16GB versions of the GeForce RTX 4080 won’t be available until November.
