Among them, the most high-end X670E Taichi adopts a 26-phase SPS Dr.MOS design, provides a pair of PCIe x16 slots, and shares 16 PCIe 5.0 lanes from the CPU. If both slots are used, it will operate in dual x8 mode. The motherboard has four M.2 slots, one of which is called “Blazing M.2” and can support PCIe 5.0, and the other three M.2 slots are PCIe 4.0. The motherboard has a front-facing one USB Type-C Gen 3.2 Gen2x2 (20 Gbps) port, two Thunderbolt 4 ports are also USB4 certified, and there are eight SATA ports.

The motherboard’s I/O location has five USB 3.2 Gen2 (10 Gbps) ports and three USB 3.2 Gen1, equipped with Killer E3100G 2.5G LAN and Killer AX1675X 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6E+Bluetooth), Killer DoubleShot Pro support is also available, along with the Realtek ALC4082 audio solution and ESS Sabre 9218 DAC, along with the usual power, reset and clear CMOS buttons on high-end motherboards.

The X670E Taichi Carrara is a special edition based on the X670E Taichi. It inherits all the functions of the original, and adopts a marbled pattern, and perhaps some unusual designs.
