MSI RTX 4080 SUPER EXPERT specifications leaked
With the launch of the GeForce RTX 40 SUPER series by Nvidia, MSI has prepared a rich and diverse product portfolio, encompassing the SUPRIM, EXPERT, GAMING TRIO, GAMING SLIM, and VENTUS series. Like many brands, MSI’s designs largely follow the precedent set by the earlier RTX 40 series. However, the EXPERT series stands out as an exception, garnering considerable attention from enthusiasts.
The GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER 16G EXPERT model features a new and robust EXPERT shroud, integrated with the Zero Frozr cooling solution, drawing comparisons to Nvidia’s official Founders Edition. According to MSI, the graphics card’s casing is made from cast aluminum to enhance structural strength. It employs a push-pull airflow design and a patented fan layout, offering quiet and reliable airflow. The combination of heat pipes and a heat spreader further improves cooling efficiency. Additionally, customizable RGB lighting is provided through RGB Mystic Light, and the card also features a dual BIOS function.
While MSI showcased the GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER 16G EXPERT graphics card at CES 2024, specific details like frequency were not disclosed. Recently, a leaked specifications sheet revealed more precise parameters of the new card. It measures 336 x 142 x 78 mm, weighs 1909g, and in GAMING and SILENT modes, the boost frequency reaches 2610 MHz. By activating the Extreme Performance mode through MSI Center, the frequency can be increased to 2625 MHz, aligning it with the SUPRIM X model.
With the imminent release of the RTX 4080 SUPER, the highly anticipated RTX 4080 SUPER EXPERT graphics card is expected to be available to consumers shortly.
