MSI releases multiple GeForce RTX 3050 GA107
MSI released a variety of RTX 3050 graphics cards using GA107, including GeForce RTX 3050 VENTUS 2X XS 8G OC, GeForce RTX 3050 AERO ITX 8G OCV1, and other models.
The original GeForce RTX 3050 is the entry-level graphics card launched by Nvidia at the CES 2022 exhibition. Like the RTX 3060, it uses GA106, has 2560 CUDA cores, 8GB of GDDR6 video memory, 128-bit video memory interface, 14Gbps video memory speed, and 130W power consumption. The single-precision floating-point performance of GeForce RTX 3050 is 9T FLOPS, which is 38% higher than GeForce RTX 2060 (6.5T FLOPS), and it is the first time to bring the latest ray tracing technology to the “50” series desktop GPU.
This time, MSI released a variety of RTX 3050. Different from the original ones, the new RTX 3050 uses the GA107 GPU. The number of CUDA cores, video memory, and video memory bandwidth have not changed. However, compared with the RTX 3050 using the GA106 GPU, the power consumption is only 115W. At the same time, the power supply interface has also changed from the original single 8-pin to a single 6-pin.
In addition, MSI has also updated the display output interface of the GeForce GeForce RTX 3050 VENTUS 2X V1 model, updating the original 3 DP and 1 HDMI interface to 2 DP, and 2 HDMI interfaces. In addition, the RTX 3050 AERO ITX V1 is also updated, from the original 3 DP and 1 HDMI interface to 1 DP, 1 HDMI, and 1 DL-DVI-D interface.
