Minisforum releases UM580 mini PC with Ryzen 7 5800H, starting at $439
Minisforum has announced the launch of the UM580 mini PC, equipped with the AMD Ryzen 7 5800H processor. This is an upgraded version of the UM560 with stronger performance and better cooling. According to Minisforum, the UM580 is a versatile mini PC that can be used in a variety of solutions, including gaming, home office, media center/HTPC, printer management PC, digital signage, or enterprise IT solutions planning large-scale deployments.
The AMD Ryzen 7 5800H in the UM580 configuration has 8 cores and 16 threads, a base frequency of 3.2GHz, a maximum acceleration frequency of 4.4GHz, 16MB of L3 cache, and a TDP of 35W. The UM580 supports dual-channel DDR4 memory up to 64GB, has an M.2 2280 PCIe slot and a 2.5-inch SATA hard drive bay (SATA 3.0 6.0Gb/s), and supports up to four displays.
The overall size of the UM580 is 12.8 × 12.66 × 4.25 cm, and a 100W GaN power adapter is included. It is equipped with two HDMI ports (supports 4K@60Hz), one USB-C port (Alt-Mode), USB 3.2 Type-C (supports DP 1.4, 4K@60Hz), one USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C port, two One USB 3.2 Gen2 port, two USB 2.0 ports, one RJ45 2.5Gb Ethernet port, one 3.5mm audio jack.
The starting price of the UM580 barebones system is $439, the price of the 8GB+256GB kit is $499, the 16GB+256GB kit is priced at $519, 16GB+512GB kit is priced at $549, and the 32GB+512GB kit is priced at $599.
