Microsoft will stop supporting the Flash Player on its browsers by the end of 2020
We know that Adobe will stop supporting the Flash Player in 2020. In fact, Adobe is only routinely providing security updates at this stage. The user has been gradually abandoned by various browsers due to a considerable number of security vulnerabilities. For example, Google Chrome does not load the player by default. Microsoft, which has been slow to move, has also issued an official statement. Simply speaking, all browsers of Microsoft will stop supporting the Flash Player until the end of next year.
Since Windows 8, Microsoft has built the Adobe Flash Player into the system, and users can neither actively update nor uninstall. Microsoft will push directly through system updates when there are new versions on a daily basis. This approach helps to improve the security of users who use Flash Player.
Microsoft said it has now turned to the development of the Chromium Edge browser, which also uses the built-in stand-alone Flash Player. This player only affects the browser of the Chromium kernel, so Microsoft will remove it from the library after Google stops supporting Flash Player next year. Adobe Flash Player is no longer supported in all browsers of the Microsoft, and users cannot download and install it. If the user still needs to use this player, then only those browsers that do not stop supporting can be used.
