Microsoft will hold the Future of Work with AI event on March 16th

Microsoft plans to release a new version of its Bing search service that integrates with ChatGPT, while also applying AI technology to products such as the new Microsoft Edge browser and Skype. Microsoft will hold a presentation event called “Future of Work with AI” on March 16th at 11 a.m. EST, where it is expected to explain more about services and applications that integrate with AI. While Microsoft has not yet disclosed which products or services will be related to this event, it can be inferred that the focus will be on updates to the new Microsoft 365 service, given that Jared Spataro, Corporate Vice President for Microsoft 365 and head of modern work and enterprise applications, will also be presenting.

Microsoft Future of Work with AI

Microsoft 365 currently includes services such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams, and the enterprise edition also includes services such as Exchange and Access. Therefore, it is expected that Microsoft’s focus will be on how to use AI to make such services more efficient. Earlier, Microsoft announced the launch of new services called Dynamics 365 Copilot and Viva Sales Copilot, which integrate AI with existing services to help enterprise users analyze data more efficiently, summarize meeting discussions, and provide appropriate writing suggestions for message or email replies.

If everything goes according to plan, Microsoft will further utilize its resources in cooperation with OpenAI and widely apply ChatGPT technology to its service products, while continuing to promote its own AI technology to gain a competitive advantage in this trend of AI development. Similarly, companies such as Google are also focusing more on AI technology, and many Chinese companies are again applying more AI technology to their products, so we can expect to see accelerated growth in AI technology in the near future.
