Microsoft launches Office app for iOS and Android included Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Microsoft today released a new Office app for iOS and Android. Although the software giant has been offering separate versions of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint on iOS and Android for years, this new Office app is designed to merge them into an app.

When Microsoft combines all the features of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint applications into one Office application, the application is much smaller than a separate Word, Excel, and PowerPoint application. This app includes transferring files from a computer to a mobile phone, converting images to text or tables, scanning images to PDF or even scanning QR codes, etc. These are quick-task features designed specifically for mobile phones.

In addition to this new Office application, Microsoft has released its new Fluent Design version of the Office logo. Over the past year, Microsoft has been steadily adjusting icons for various Office applications, and the new Office logo is a darker version of the flat orange icon that the company has used in recent years. It is included in this Office for iOS and Android app and will be used elsewhere in Office.com and other Microsoft Office applications in the coming months.

If you are interested in trying out this new Office mobile app, the public preview is already launched today. Currently, this app is available on iPhone, iPad or Android.
