Microsoft Edge for Android gets the history synchronization function

The overall evaluation of the Microsoft Edge browser by users is quite good, but the lack of some key functions makes some users have some problems in using it.

For example, the synchronization function. The synchronization function currently supports password synchronization, favorites synchronization, address information, etc., but it still does not support access history synchronization.

In the Microsoft Edge Canary version of the desktop platform, you can actually see the history synchronization option, which was recently launched. Now the Microsoft Edge browser for Android also launches the history synchronization function.

Microsoft has also brought a history synchronization function in the latest Android version of the browser. According to the instructions, it not only supports the synchronization of the new version and supports the data synchronization of the Edge classic version.

Microsoft has previously promised to bring the history synchronization function as soon as possible. At that time, Microsoft engineers also released screenshots of the Android version to show that it does support data synchronization.

However, after enabling the history synchronization function in the Android beta version, data still cannot be synchronized, which means that this function is actually just a decoration at the current stage.

The desktop version’s history synchronization function is also not available, so it is not clear why Microsoft released the option in advance before the function is supported. So if you already use the Microsoft Edge browser, it’s best not to expect too many of these features.
