Microsoft drops LinkedIn UWP app on Windows 10

Previously, some developers complained that they wanted to adapt the architecture to develop the app on the Microsoft Store. As a result, Microsoft has n’t updated the documents for a long time, and it is basically impossible to successfully complete the adaptation and put it on the shelf. And Microsoft always complains about the decadence of the store because developers are unwilling to support it, and without developers launching great applications, users will naturally not use the Microsoft Store. However, while complaining about the developer, Microsoft’s own software is also abandoning the platform. This time, LinkedIn, the social networking platform of Microsoft, abandoned the UWP platform.

The UWP version launched by LinkedIn, a social networking platform under Microsoft ’s workplace, is unavailable, and users will be prompted to use the web version after opening it. In the prompt, LinkedIn indicates that the team is removing support for the application, and if users continue to use it, the online version of LinkedIn will be opened using the default browser. LinkedIn also stated that for all users who have logged in to the account, all data will be synchronized to the LinkedIn server and will not disappear when the application stops supporting. In addition, LinkedIn also reminds users to download the mobile version of LinkedIn, including the iOS and Android versions of LinkedIn, and users can continue to easily access LinkedIn on their mobile phones.
