MediaTek released Dimensity 800U chip: supports 120Hz refresh rates, 5G Dual Sim Dual Standby
Chip giant MediaTek today released a new generation of 5G chip Dimensity 800U. Like all Dimensity chips of the company, Dimensity 800U also supports 5G network connections, and this chip also provides some advanced functional support.
The Dimensity 800U chip supports for 5G+5G Dual Sim Dual Standby (DSDS), sub-6GHz 5G on SA and NSA networks, dual Voice over New Radio (VoNR), 5G two carrier aggregation (2CC 5G-CA), and MediaTek’s 5G UltraSave technology.
Dimensity 800U chip supports 120Hz FHD+ display, high refresh rate can bring users a smoother experience; supports HDR10+ standard, and built-in MiraVision PQ engine, which can provide a better audio-visual viewing experience. In terms of taking pictures, the Dimensity 800U supports up to 64 million pixels + four-shot camera sensor configuration.
In terms of CPU, the basic frequency of the Dimensity 800U processor core is 2.4GHz, and the GPU is 11% faster than the Dimensity 700 series. At present, MediaTek has not disclosed the news of the new machine that will be equipped with Dimensity 800U.
