Sony announced at the “State Of Play” live event that Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered, previously exclusive to the PlayStation 5 platform, will land on the PC platform on August 12. Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered on PC will include the full main story and its continued narrative in Marvel’s Spider-Man: The City That Never Sleeps DLC, which features three accompanying story chapters in Peter Parker’s journey along with additional missions and challenges for players to discover. Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales will launch on PC in Fall 2022.
The Marvel’s Spider-Man series, as Sony’s first-party masterpiece IP, has put a lot of effort into it. As of last month, Insomniac Games’ Marvel’s Spider-Man series had sold 33 million copies. The porting of Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales will be handled by Nixxes Software to take full advantage of the graphics performance of the PC platform.
Notably, Nvidia also posted about Marvel’s Spider-Man series on its official social media accounts, which is implied that the PC version of Marvel’s Spider-Man series will support its related technologies, in addition to ray tracing, it is likely that there will be NVIDIA DLSS or NVIDIA Reflex.
