Israel Defense Force successfully blocked the cyber attack of the militant group Hamas by airstrikes
The Israel Defense Force (IDF) recently said it has successfully blocked the cyberattack launched by Hamas, a militant group in the Gaza Strip, last weekend and carried out air strikes on the building. This is the first time IDF has launched cyber attacks through physical attacks. Since Hamas and IDF have repeatedly attacked each other in the past three days, it has led to serious violence.
CLEARED FOR RELEASE: We thwarted an attempted Hamas cyber offensive against Israeli targets. Following our successful cyber defensive operation, we targeted a building where the Hamas cyber operatives work.

It is reported that Hamas has fired more than 600 rockets into Israel, while the Israel Defense Force has carried out their own strikes on hundreds of military targets. So far, at least 27 Palestinians and 4 Israeli civilians have been killed, and more than 100 of them have been injured. The tension between Israel and Hamas increased last year, and protests and violence still broke out.
In the battle on Saturday, IDF said that Hamas launched a cyber attack against Israel, but did not disclose specific targets. But The Times of Israel said that the purpose of Hamas is to “[harm] the quality of life of Israeli citizens.” IDF said the cyber attack is not complicated, and “Hamas no longer has cyber capabilities after our strike.”
