Intel’s Xe-HPG 512EU graphics card appeared on Geekbench

The 12th generation Core Alder Lake processor and ARC graphics card will be the focus of Intel’s recent work. The Alder Lake processor will be released at the end of next month, while the ARC graphics card will be released in the first quarter of next year. The most likely time will be CES next year. The details of the architecture of the ARC graphics card have actually been announced at the previous Architecture Day event. The code name of the first generation product is Alchemist, but they did not mention the specific products of Xe-HPG.

Of course, at this point in time, Intel is definitely testing the ARC graphics card. At present, the Geekbench database already has the data of the Xe 512EU graphics card, and the graphics card is recognized by the software as “OpenCL HD Graphics” or “Intel Xe Graphics”. This is the flagship product of the ARC Alchemist graphics card. It has 512 groups of EU and 4096 stream processors. The maximum frequency recognized by the software is 2.1GHz, but the actual frequency is only 1.33GHz. Obviously, the frequency is limited, and the video memory is 12.7GB.

This graphics card was tested on the Intel verification platform of Core i5-9600K, and the test score is not high, between 65000-69000. This score is only at the level of RTX 2060. Of course, this is obviously not the full strength of this graphics card. Intel will not come up with a flagship graphics card with RTX 2060 performance in 2022.

Of course, it can be seen from the test platform and test results that Xe HPG is not ready yet, and it is estimated that the state is still far from the official listing. At present, the test results are basically meaningless.
