GIGABYTE RTX 4090 Aorus Waterforce uses 36cm AIO cooler
The default power consumption of NVIDIA RTX 4090 is 450W, and the special and overclocked versions of some partners may reach 600W. In terms of temperature, it can be expected to be quite hot, and some of the cards that have been exposed so far also use quite large radiators, and there are also water-cooled versions.
The RTX 4090 Aorus Xtreme Waterforce to be launched by GIGABYTE uses a 36 cm AIO integrated water cooling radiator. In fact, this cooler is almost the same as the RTX 3090 Ti Aorus Xtreme Waterforce.
It can be seen on the graphics card that the PCB is not large and only occupies two slots. The main heat dissipation is given to the external 36 cm radiator, with three 12 cm fans, the part of the water pipe is covered with a woven mesh, and the part that is in contact with the GPU, memory, and power supply is a large-area all-copper bottom plate.
The power supply part needs an external PCIe Gen5 16pin, and the output ports are 3 DP and 1 HDMI.
In addition, MSI also has an RTX 4090 water-cooled version, the model is RTX 4090 SUPRIM X Liquid, which uses 24 cm AIO water cooling, but there is still a fan on the card to dissipate heat.
