NVIDIA officially released RTX 4090/RTX 4080

The GTC 2022 “GeForce Beyond” special event that players are looking forward to is finally here. As expected by the previous news, NVIDIA released three GeForce RTX 40 series graphics cards this time, including the GeForce RTX 4090 and the 12GB and 16GB versions of the GeForce RTX 4080.
Among them, the GeForce RTX 4090 GPU is the flagship product of the new GeForce RTX 40 series, which is the fastest gaming GPU in the world. NVIDIA said that it is amazing in terms of power consumption, quietness, heat dissipation, etc. In a complete ray tracing game, compared with the previous generation RTX 3090 Ti with DLSS 2, the performance of the RTX 4090 with DLSS 3 can be improved by up to 4 times.

In modern games, the RTX 4090 delivers up to 2x the performance while maintaining the same 450W power consumption.

With 76 billion transistors, 16,384 CUDA cores, and 24 GB of high-speed Micron GDDR6X memory, the RTX 4090 consistently runs at over 100 FPS in games at 4K resolution.
NVIDIA also announced the RTX 4080 in two configurations. With 9728 CUDA cores and 16 GB of high-speed Micron GDDR6X memory, the RTX 4080 16GB delivers 2x the performance of the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti in modern games; even at lower power, the performance is more powerful than the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti. The RTX 4080 12GB has 7680 CUDA cores and 12GB of Micron GDDR6X memory, and its performance is more powerful than the previous generation flagship GPU RTX 3090 Ti.

It is reported that the RTX 4090 will be launched on October 12 with a suggested retail price starting from $1599. The RTX 4080 in two configurations will be available in November with suggested retail prices starting at $1,199 and $899, respectively.
