The first thing you can see is that the highest frequency marked on the DDR5 memory slot from AM5 is 5200MHz. Then it can be determined that the JEDEC standard DDR5-5200 memory supported by the Ryzen 7000 series processors is the highest, and the EXPO is turned on. Among the 28 PCI-E channels provided by the CPU, AORUS X670 ELITE only uses 4 of them as PCI-E 5.0 M.2 interfaces. The other 20 are made into 4.0 PCI-E x16 ports and one PCI-E x4 M.2 port. Note that the PCI-E x16 port of this motherboard does not support splitting, in addition to the interface provided by the CPU’s IOD, there is also one HDMI 2.0, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, and two USB 3.2 Gen 1. The CPU IOD is connected to the first X670 chip via PCI-E 4.0 x4. The modified chip provides one PCI-E 4.0 x4 M.2 port and four SATA 6Gbps ports, one USB 3.2 Gen 2*2 Type-C port, four USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, and four USB 2.0 ports.

The two X670 chips are interconnected through PCI-E 4.0 x4. The second X670 chip provides a PCI-E 4.0 x4 port, a PCI-E 4.0 x4 M.2 port, and a PCI-E 3.0 x2 port, and use two PCI-E 3.0 to connect WiFi wireless network card and 2.5G network card, it also provides 1 USB 3.2 Gen 2*2 Type-C port and 4 USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports.

This board shows that the general X670 motherboard may indeed abandon PCI-E 5.0 support, but it will also retain some PCI-E 5.0 interfaces, AORUS X670 ELITE gave up the graphics card PCI-E x16 to 5.0, but retained a PCI-E 5.0 M.2, and X670E will include all of this.
