Firefox allows users to view collected telemetry data

Recently, we reported that Mozilla plans to add a “Telemetry Data” setting in Firefox 72. At present, Firefox has made new measures in the management of telemetry data. According to the ZDNet report, a special page has been added to the Firefox browser, and users can view the telemetry data collected by Mozilla from their browser.

This is the latest feature of Firefox, and users can access it by typing about:telemetry in the browser’s URL address bar. This page provides in-depth information about browser settings, installed accessories, operating system/hardware information, browser session details, and technical information about the running process. And this information is authorized and collected by software vendors about users.

According to Firefox engineers, the main reason for creating this page is to allow users to have a bottom on the types of data collected by their browser manufacturers, making users more at ease.
