Dell U3224KB monitor has been listed in the United States
Dell has perennially maintained a leading position in the realm of monitors, launching a plethora of products each year catering to diverse market segments, thereby meeting the varied needs of distinct consumer groups. At the CES 2023 event earlier this year, Dell refreshed its UltraSharp product line, introducing the world’s first 6K monitor employing IPS Black technology: the U3224KB.
As reported by The Verge, the Dell U3224KB monitor has already hit the shelves in the United States, with a price tag of $3199.99.
Last year, Dell released the U2723QE and U3223QE models featuring IPS Black technology, which received laudatory market acclaim. This year, Dell’s U3224KB integrates a 31.5-inch IPS panel with a 6K resolution (6144 x 3456). It also supports IPS Black technology, significantly enhancing the contrast ratio of IPS monitors. Although it still falls short of OLED screens, it represents a substantial improvement, rendering the display colors more vibrant. Paired with a high color gamut, it can satisfy the application demands of users for video and content creation.
The U3224KB comes with a 60Hz refresh rate, a contrast ratio of 2000:1, and offers 100% sRGB and 99% DCI-P3 color gamut, earning DisplayHDR 600 certification. Tailored as a productivity-focused monitor, the U3224KB is equipped with a 4K webcam at its top, incorporating an HDR CMOS sensor capable of recording 4K videos at 30fps or 1080P videos at 60fps. It also features a microphone with echo cancellation and dual 14W speakers, facilitating work coordination. The integrated pop-out port on the front of the monitor helps reduce cable clutter, ensuring a tidy workspace and provides USB-C and USB-A ports (10 Gbps).
In addition to a DisplayPort 2.1 port, this monitor also features a Thunderbolt 4 port, supporting a maximum power of 140W. The U3224KB also offers a KVM function, allowing users to switch between two PCs, and supports side-by-side and picture-in-picture functions. The U3224KB’s stand allows for tilt, height, and rotation adjustments, offering greater convenience when in use.
