GIGABYTE Introduces New BRIXs Series Mini PCs

Gigabyte announces the release of its new BRIXs series mini PCs, equipped with Intel’s 13th generation Core U-series mobile processors.

The 2023 BRIXs series mini PCs adopt a refreshing chassis design, featuring smooth, gentle, and clean lines. The base is encased in a beveled design, which, though subtle, imbues the overall aesthetic with a sense of vitality. The implementation of a lightweight design approach ensures that while users enjoy high-performance computing, they are also in possession of a product that exudes stylish elegance.

The new mini PCs come equipped with Intel’s 13th generation Core U-series mobile processors. This hybrid architecture is manufactured using Intel’s 7nm process, with a thermal design power (TDP) of 15W. The performance marks a remarkable improvement over previous models featuring the 10th generation Core processors, boasting a performance increase ranging between 88% and 140%. The product lineup ranges from the base model BRi3H equipped with a Core i3-1315U (2P+4E) to the high-end BRi7H(S) equipped with a Core i7-1355U (2P+8E). Complemented by the integrated Iris Xe graphics, it can support up to four 4K@60Hz display outputs, adequately fulfilling various performance demands.

The new offerings come with two HDMI 2.0b ports, two USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C ports (supporting DP Alt Mode), two USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A ports, and two USB 2.0 Type-A ports. Additionally, they feature a 2.5Gbps network interface and support for Wi-Fi 6 wireless connectivity. They are equipped with two SO-DIMM slots, supporting up to 32GB of dual-channel DDR4-3200 memory. Storage can be expanded through a PCIe 4.0 x4 M.2 slot (also compatible with SATA III) and a 2.5-inch drive bay. Some models even feature two M.2 slots (PCIe x1/SATA).
