CORSAIR Releases New K70 MAX RGB Mechanical Keyboard and HS80 MAX Gaming Headset

Corsair has announced the release of its new K70 MAX RGB mechanical keyboard, along with the HS80 MAX gaming headset. The former represents Corsair’s first keyboard furnished with an adjustable CORSAIR MGX magnetic mechanical switch, ushering in an unprecedented level of playability. Corsair asserts that whether users are in pursuit of lightning-fast actions or flawless typing accuracy, the K70 MAX represents the most desirable choice.

Constructed with a sophisticated aluminum frame and treated with an etching process, the K70 MAX RGB encompasses dual layers of damping material within, effectively diminishing noise during typing. It’s equipped with the brand-new CORSAIR MGX magnetic switch that allows for individual trigger distance settings for each key, ranging from 0.4mm to 3.6mm, with adjustments in increments of 0.1mm. Furthermore, Corsair has introduced dual contact triggering on the CORSAIR MGX switch, facilitating a two-stage trigger in a single press without awaiting rebound. A single action thus allows for rapid execution of commands twice; for instance, a light tap might initiate walking, while a heavier press triggers running. Users will be able to adapt these settings through iCUE software in subsequent firmware updates.

The CORSAIR MGX magnetic switch will also support a new Rapid Trigger mode. Once activated, keys immediately reset upon release, thereby unlocking ultra-sensitive, key-by-key triggering, providing players with a competitive edge in FPS and other fast-paced games. Corsair contends that this feature grants the K70 MAX RGB superiority in rapid re-pressing and input variations over traditional mechanical keyboards, with an expected launch this fall.

The HS80 MAX gaming headset boasts support for multiple platforms, coupled with exceptional audio quality and performance. It retains all the advantages of the HS80 series, including broadcast-quality omnidirectional microphones, an ultra-comfortable floating headband, and an aluminum-reinforced structure. The addition of Bluetooth enhances device compatibility, allowing connection to various types of devices, while 2.4GHz wireless connectivity ensures faster speeds. With a mere press of a button, users can seamlessly switch between wireless connectivity and Bluetooth. Moreover, through Dolby Atmos spatial audio, users can immerse themselves in gaming experiences on PC and Mac, and even customize personalized audio profiles via Sonarworks SoundID, catering to unique auditory preferences.
