CORSAIR releases MP600 ELITE series M.2 PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD
Corsair has announced the launch of its new MP600 ELITE series M.2 PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD, a high-performance solid-state drive designed to enhance user experience significantly. Whether used in desktops, laptops, or Sony PlayStation 5 consoles, this SSD promises to deliver unparalleled performance.
The MP600 ELITE series features Phison’s E27T controller and 3D TLC NAND flash chips. It is available in 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB capacities, expected to hit the market in April. The product comes with a five-year warranty, catering to gamers, content creators, and PC hardware enthusiasts. It boasts impressive sequential read and write speeds of up to 7000 MB/s and 6500 MB/s, respectively, with peak 4K random read/write speeds of 1000K IOPS and 1200K IOPS. Its endurance, measured in TBW, reaches up to 1,200, and it supports AES 256-bit encryption, making it a formidable competitor in the PCIe 4.0 SSD market. Additionally, it is backward compatible with PCIe 3.0 standard slots.
To address the need for expanded storage in PlayStation 5 consoles, Corsair has specifically designed an aluminum heat sink to ensure optimal performance in both the original and new Slim models. Like other Corsair SSDs, the MP600 ELITE series supports the CORSAIR SSD Toolbox software, which offers a variety of convenient features, including secure erase and firmware updates.
The MP600 ELITE series SSDs will soon be available for purchase from Corsair’s official website and authorized global retailers and distributors.
