Cooler Master unveiled its X Silent series power supplies

As CES 2024 approaches, Cooler Master has officially unveiled its X Silent series power supplies. These units belong to the high-performance, silent power supply category, featuring an even heat plate and an integrated cooling structure to dissipate heat efficiently, thus ensuring better thermal management and prolonged component lifespan. The initial X Silent series includes three models with power ratings of 850W, 1100W, and 1300W, with the first two employing a fanless design.

The X Silent Edge Platinum 850W and 1100W rely on heat pipe cooling, augmented by a substantial aluminum heat sink module on the casing. This module incorporates a square copper base plate and multiple heat-conducting pipes, a design Cooler Master hails as ‘an innovative modular thermal structure.’ This impressive product was previously revealed during a media visit to Cooler Master.

For users with less stringent noise requirements, Cooler Master also offers the higher-rated X Silent Max Platinum 1300W, which adopts a more traditional design. It is equipped with an ultra-quiet Mobius fan, and the company claims it produces ‘an ambient noise output of less than 20 decibels.’ Thanks to its stop-start technology, it remains completely silent under lower workloads.

The X Silent series power supplies share several common features, apart from the differences in active and passive cooling, including:

  • – Quiet, efficient power delivery
  • – Digital monitoring and control via MasterCTRL software
  • – 80PLUS Platinum certification, with efficiency exceeding 92% under typical loads
  • – Support for ATX 3.0, featuring a 90-degree 12VHPWR connector
  • – Infineon electronics components
  • – An extensive 15-year warranty

Cooler Master asserts that the new X Silent series power supplies are designed to attract gamers, creative professionals, or anyone who prefers a quiet operating environment.
