Cooler Master launches QUBE 500 mid-tower case

Cooler Master has unveiled the QUBE 500, a distinctive ATX mid-tower chassis. Eschewing conventional ATX casing norms, it embraces a modular installation approach. This means each panel is designed for autonomous assembly and disassembly, offering a departure from traditional PC building methods, and introducing enthusiasts to an unparalleled DIY experience.

Diverging from the customary packaging of its counterparts, the QUBE 500 adopts a unique “flat-pack” style. Each casing panel and component can be independently combined, granting not only a Lego-like assembly experience but also a vast spectrum of customization options. For instance, it can be manifested as a conventional ATX case or be transformed into an open-test platform by removing all side panels and retaining only the motherboard backplate.

The QUBE 500’s overall dimensions are 406 x 231 x 415 mm, encapsulating approximately 33 liters. Within its compact confines, it can house an E-ATX motherboard, with a CPU cooler clearance of up to 172mm and a graphics card allowance of up to 365mm in length. The case supports multiple 280mm water coolers, accommodating up to three radiators concurrently. CoolerMaster also integrates a plethora of meticulous design details, including a PCIe bracket that toggles between horizontal and vertical orientations, an integrated front I/O panel connector, interchangeable glass and ventilated side panels, a front Type-C port with a 20Gbps transfer rate, universally consistent screw types, and comprehensive cable management provisions. Additionally, CoolerMaster offers an assortment of accessories like convenient carry handles and even provides documentation for 3D-printable parts, allowing enthusiasts to expand the case’s versatility.

Initially, CoolerMaster is releasing the QUBE 500 in both white and black variants.
