Biostar launches B650 motherboard with RX 7800 XT graphics card
BIOSTAR has unveiled a new AMD suite tailored explicitly for content creators, comprising the B650 motherboard and the Radeon RX 7800 XT graphics card, offering an impeccable solution for graphic designers and creative professionals, harmonizing superior performance with an impressive cost-to-performance ratio.
The motherboard, designated B650MS2, adheres to the Micro-ATX standard, measuring 22.1cm x 23.5cm. It boasts two DDR5 memory slots, compatible with DDR5-6000+ specifications, with a maximum capacity of 96GB, accommodating individual memory modules of 24/48GB. It features a PCIe 4.0 x16 slot (with bifurcation capability to dual x8) and a PCIe 3.0 x1 slot. Additionally, it includes a PCIe 4.0 M.2 slot, accommodating 2242/2260/2280 specifications, and four SATA III ports, supporting RAID configurations of 0/1/10.
Regarding rear I/O, it’s equipped with an HDMI 1.4 port, a DP 1.2 port, four USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A ports, two USB 2.0 ports, and a 2.5Gbps Ethernet port (Realtek RTL8125BG). The audio solution is built around the Realtek ALC897, complemented by a BIOS UPDATE button. Front I/O for the B650MS2 consists of two USB 2.0 ports and one USB 3.2 Gen1 port.
The Radeon RX 7800 XT, sporting the Navi 32 and built upon the RDNA 3 architecture, houses 60 CUs, translating to 3840 stream processors. It possesses an Infinity Cache of 64MB, coupled with 16GB of GDDR6 memory, having a bandwidth of 256-bits and a memory speed of 19.5 Gbps. The graphics card’s overall dimensions are 282 x 150 x 50 mm, and BIOSTAR has endowed it with a dual-fan cooling system, supplemented by dual 8Pin external power connections.
BIOSTAR has yet to disclose the price point of this suite and its precise launch date.
