Early next year, both AMD and Nvidia will update their product lines for mobile platforms. AMD will launch the Zen 3+ architecture APU code-named Rembrandt, and Nvidia is likely to provide a new Ampere architecture GPU. Manufacturers will combine the two to create products for the high-end gaming market.

MyLaptopGuide, ASUS’s next-generation gaming laptop has just passed FCC certification. This device marked with the model number “G533Z” is equipped with AMD Ryzen 9 6900HX processor, has 8 cores and 16 threads, and is also equipped with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti mobile graphics, and 32GB of DDR5-4800 memory, 1TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD, 15.6-inch QHD screen with 165 Hz refresh rate, pre-installed with Windows 11 Pro operating system. This will be one of the first AMD laptops to support DDR5 memory and PCIe 4.0.
This device confirms that AMD’s next-generation mobile platform processor will be named Ryzen 6000 series, in addition to being based on the Zen 3+ architecture, Rembrandt-H is also equipped with the RDNA 2 architecture GPU for the first time, and will also support PCIe Gen4 and DDR5 memory, manufactured with 6nm process, replaced with FP7 socket. The GeForce RTX 3080 Ti mobile graphics card should use the new GPU called GA103, with 7424 CUDA cores and 16GB of GDDR6 video memory. The TDP may be between 150W and 200W.

Although the detailed certification documents are still confidential, the FCC has disclosed the product label and bottom picture. It is understood that this game notebook is likely to be similar to the same series of products in the past, with a gray + black color scheme, and is expected to be unveiled around CES 2022 in January next year.
