ASUS releases three RTX 3060 Ti GDDR6X GPUs
ASUS announced the launch of three RTX 3060 Ti GDDR6X models belonging to the TUF Gaming and Dual series. After replacing it with GDDR6X memory, the memory rate is increased from 14 Gbps to 19 Gbps, and the memory bandwidth is increased by 36%, which improves the performance to a certain extent.
According to TechPowerUp, TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 3060 Ti 8GB GDDR6X uses the same three-axial fan cooling system as the old model, is equipped with an aluminum backplane, has a thickness of 2.7 slots, and supports NVIDIA G-SYNC and GPU Tweak III. ASUS also offers factory overclocked versions, which are tuned in-house to ensure users get the best performance out of the box.
For some small chassis lovers, the volume of TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 3060 Ti 8GB GDDR6X is still too large. Three fans and a thickness of close to 3 slots cannot fit into the chassis, so ASUS also launched the Dual GeForce RTX 3060 Ti 8GB GDDR6X.
It can be known from the model number that the Dual GeForce RTX 3060 Ti 8GB GDDR6X is a dual-fan cooling system, which makes the graphics card more compact, with a thickness of 2 slots and a shorter length, which also brings better compatibility.
Unlike TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 3060 Ti 8GB GDDR6X, which follows the old heat dissipation design, Dual GeForce RTX 3060 Ti 8GB GDDR6X adopts a new appearance and provides two colors of black and white.
After an optimized design by ASUS, the Dual GeForce RTX 3060 Ti 8GB GDDR6X still has very good heat dissipation efficiency even though the volume is smaller. By directing the airflow around the fan to the heatsink, coupled with the aluminum backplate, the GPU can be cooled better, and the Zero Noise technology allows the graphics card to run silently during lighter workloads, only starting when the GPU temperature reaches 55 degrees Celsius.
Worth it is TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 3060 Ti 8GB GDDR6X and Dual GeForce RTX 3060 Ti 8GB GDDR6X using Auto-Extreme technology manufacturing. This means that components can be welded without human intervention and with a high quality that will stand the test of time. In addition, Asus also updated the GeForce RTX 3060 8GB product, offering a white Dual series model.
