Assassin’s Creed Nexus VR is expected to be released on the Meta Store on November 16

Today, Ubisoft announced the forthcoming release of “Assassin’s Creed Nexus VR” to the Meta Store on November 16th, offering a comprehensive overview video of the game. It’s anticipated to be compatible with Quest 2, Quest 3, and Quest Pro, immersing players in a novel virtual reality gameplay experience.

Ubisoft Red Storm Studio leads the development of “Assassin’s Creed Nexus VR,” marking Ubisoft’s inaugural foray into virtual reality adaptations of the “Assassin’s Creed” series. Players will be granted a first-person perspective, assuming the roles of three assassins from various eras. They will engage in activities ranging from simulating the swing of a hidden blade with their bodily movements to parkour exploration of their surroundings, and even engaging in combative or stealthy maneuvers.

In the promotional material for “Assassin’s Creed: Multiverse VR,” Ubisoft emphasizes that players will be transported into a lifelike virtual reality world. Within this realm, they will navigate intuitively, experiencing unparalleled freedom and realism. This includes blending seamlessly into crowds, stealthily tracking targets, and employing various tactics like whistling or tossing objects to distract guards. Furthermore, actual hand gestures can be used for defensive moves, combative stances, and the utilization of a diverse arsenal of weapons.

Additionally, Ubisoft underscores that the development of “Assassin’s Creed Nexus VR” spanned several years. The game has been designed to cater to a wide range of player experiences. It incorporates features for easier movement within the virtual environment. For instance, there are options to either partially or fully automate movement in VR to minimize motion sickness. Players can also adjust settings to mitigate any fear of heights, enhancing visual comfort.
