ASRock will launch the Radeon RX 6400 graphics card

AMD released the Radeon RX 6500 XT/RX 6400 at CES 2022. The new graphics card is based on the Navi 24 core, manufactured using a 6nm process, and equipped with 16MB of unlimited cache. Radeon RX 6500 XT will be configured with 16 CUs and have 1024 stream processors, while RX 6400 will have only 12 CUs and 768 stream processors. Both graphics cards will be equipped with 4GB of GDDR6 memory with a 64-bit memory width.

ASRock recently submitted a new document to the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), which contains the upcoming Radeon RX graphics cards, including the Radeon RX 6400, which is also the first graphics card to be equipped with the Radeon RX 6400. This product called RX6400 CLI 4G is exactly a Challenger ITX graphics card, which is an entry-level product.

According to AMD, the Radeon RX 6400 will not be released to the retail market, only the OEM market. It is believed that the supply of this Radeon RX 6400 graphics card from ASRock is very limited, and it is likely to be only available to specific customers. Unlike the Radeon RX 6500 XT, the Radeon RX 6400 does not require an external power supply interface. In addition, the PCIe 4.0 interface of the Radeon RX 6400 is also only four channels and does not support 4K H.264/H.265 encoding and AV1 decoding.
