ASRock Intel Arc A380 Challenger ITX is available
About two months ago, Intel officially released the ARC A380 for desktop platforms, and its first graphics card partner, GUNNIR, also launched the GUNNIR Intel Arc A380 Photon 6G OC. This is also the first Intel desktop discrete graphics card that gamers can buy in the retail market.
It was previously reported that there will be five partners of Intel’s first discrete graphics card, in addition to GUNNIR, there are ASRock, Asus, MSI, and Gigabyte. Recently, ASRock’s Arc A380 Challenger ITX 6GB OC has quietly landed on the e-commerce platform, and the current reservation price is 1299 yuan (roughly $192), including the 13% sales tax.
According to ASRock’s official website, the overall size of the Arc A380 Challenger ITX 6GB OC is 190mm × 124mm × 39mm, and the thickness of the dual slots is relatively small. It is equipped with Intel’s ACM-G11 chip, has 8 Xe cores and 8 optical tracking units based on the Xe-HPG architecture, the base frequency is 2250 MHz, and it has two complete Xe media engines. It can support hardware codec of VP9, AVC, HEVC, and AV1 formats, as well as a 4-channel Xe display engine, which can output up to 2 8K60 HDR, or 4 4K120 HDR.
This graphics card is equipped with 96-bit GDDR6 memory, the rate is 15 Gbps, and provides four display outputs, namely three DisplayPort 2.0 interfaces and one HDMI 2.0b interface. Intel has previously stated that partners can implement HDMI 2.1 support through PCON, which the Arc A380 Challenger ITX 6GB OC should not have. In addition, the striped axial-flow fan configured in its cooling system supports 0dB quiet cool technology, which can realize stop and achieve a complete mute effect.
