Rendering of AMD Navi 24 GPU exposed

It was reported last weekend that AMD will release the Radeon RX 6500 XT on January 19 next year, while the Radeon RX 6400 may not be released until March next year. Radeon RX 6400 is limited to the OEM market. Both graphics cards use AMD’s new Navi 24 core, which is the GPU in the RDNA 2 architecture for the low-end market. What is more interesting is that Navi 24 is rumored to be manufactured using a 6nm process, and the foundry is likely to be TSMC.

VideoCardz received a rendering of the AMD Navi 24 GPU. As a small GPU, its die size is estimated to be 141mm², which is smaller than the RDNA architecture-based Navi 14 (158mm²). Navi 24 has only half the specifications of Navi 23, is equipped with 16 CUs, has 1024 stream processors, 16MB Infinity Cache, and the video memory width is only 64 bits.

Navi 24 may be the last Navi 2x member based on the RDNA 2 architecture, but it is AMD’s first consumer-grade GPU manufactured on a 6nm process. AMD should show off Radeon RX 6500 XT and RX 6400 graphics cards based on the Navi 24 core at the next CES 2022 exhibition.
