14th Gen “Intel 300” processor features 2 cores (2P+0E)/4 threads, 6MB L3 cache

Intel is on the verge of launching its 14th-generation Core processors, known as Raptor Lake Refresh. In the past, in addition to the Core lineup, there were also processors aimed at the lower-end entry-level market, such as the Pentium and Celeron brands. However, Intel announced last year that it would adopt a new name, referred to as “Intel Processor,” to replace the Pentium and Celeron brands that have been in use for many years.

In the past few months, processors bearing the new name have already appeared on the market. Recent Twitter user @g01d3nm4ng0 revealed that Intel is preparing a processor named “Intel 300,” which is expected to be launched alongside other 14th-generation Core processors designed for desktop platforms in the third quarter of 2023.

Currently, available products with specific designations utilize the Alder Lake-N chip, such as the Intel N200, equipped with an E-Core. The new Intel 300 is different, however, outfitted with a P-Core based on the Raptor Cove architecture, boasting a dual-core, quad-thread specification, with an L3 cache of 6MB, a base frequency of 3.9 GHz, and a TDP of 46W. According to the new naming convention, the Intel 300 will replace the existing Pentium G7400’s position.
