ZALMAN launches i6 mid-tower case
ZALMAN has announced the launch of the i6 mid-tower case, available in two color options: black and white. ZALMAN, formerly known as ‘Simin’ and later renamed ‘Zhaman’ in Chinese, is a brand with which many DIY enthusiasts are likely familiar.
The ZALMAN i6 mid-tower case is equipped with a front panel featuring a mesh intake design, and its left side panel is made of tempered glass. Inside, the case includes an adjustable graphics card reinforcement bracket, which can be tailored to the card’s height and thickness to counteract the bending of the PCB over time. Furthermore, beyond the standard installation method, gamers have the option to vertically mount their graphics card.
The overall dimensions of the i6 mid-tower case are 420 x 230 x 475 mm, with a weight of 6.4kg. It supports Mini-ITX, Micro-ATX, and ATX motherboard formats. The case’s front I/O configuration includes one USB Type-C port, one USB 3.0 port, one USB 2.0 port, along with audio and microphone jacks. It offers up to two 3.5-inch hard drive bays and three 2.5-inch hard drive bays, plus 7+3 PCI expansion slots. The case accommodates a CPU cooler with a maximum height of 180mm, graphics cards up to 355mm in length, and power supplies up to 180mm long.
This case provides up to eight fan mounting locations, including the front area, which can hold three 120/140mm fans, supporting 120/140/240/280/360mm water cooling; the top area, which can hold two 120/140mm fans, supporting 120/140/240/280mm water cooling; the rear area, which can hold one 120/140mm fan, supporting 120/140mm water cooling; and the bottom area, which can hold two 120mm fans.
ZALMAN has not disclosed the pricing or the specific release date for the i6 mid-tower case.
