Thermaltake releases Toughpower TF3 1550W power supply
Thermaltake has announced the release of its new Toughpower TF3 1550W power supply unit. Engineered to support ATX 3.0 and PCIe 5.0 specifications, it comes equipped with two native 12+4Pin 12VHPWR external power connectors and boasts an 80 PLUS Titanium certification, achieving a high conversion efficiency of up to 94%. This unit provides a high-quality and highly stable overclocking power source for PCs.
The Toughpower TF3 1550W power supply, with dimensions of 150mm x 86mm x 180mm and a rated power of 1550W, utilizes 105°C/221°F Japanese main capacitors in conjunction with a high-amperage single rail +12V and DC-DC design to deliver utmost stability and compatibility. Optimized for energy savings, it incorporates industrial-grade circuit protection, including over-current protection (OCP), over-voltage protection (OVP), short circuit protection (SCP), over-power protection (OPP), under-voltage protection (UVP), and over-temperature protection (OTP), ensuring secure operation of hardware components.
An integrated 140mm PWM fan provides exceptional cooling performance, and by activating the Turbo Mode button on the power panel, the fan can reach speeds of approximately 2400±10% RPM. The unit supports the latest processors’ C6/C7 power-saving states, offering a more stable, efficient, and energy-saving solution. Moreover, the Toughpower GF A3 series power supply features a fully modular design, allowing users the freedom to select the necessary cables for better cable management, reduced clutter, and increased airflow within the chassis.
The Toughpower TF3 1550W power supply is set to be available in November 2023 through Thermaltake’s global network of authorized retailers and distributors, backed by a ten-year warranty, with a suggested retail price of $369.99.
