The first Mini-PCs equipped with AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX will be available soon

At the beginning of this year, after AMD released the Ryzen 5000 series of mobile processors, it has been widely used in the notebook computer market. Different from the previous generation, even the top gaming laptops will use Ryzen 5000 series mobile processors. Compared with the rapid advancement of mobile platforms, another applicable scenario is the Mini-PC market. Products equipped with Ryzen 5000 series mobile processors have not even been seen.

Intel’s NUC series products have already become popular in the Mini-PC market and have matured, but many users still hope that manufacturers can launch products equipped with AMD processors. It’s a pity that half a year has passed, and the Ryzen 4000 series mobile processors currently available on the market are still used. However, this situation seems to change soon. Recently, Morefine Focus and Minisforum have announced that they will launch Mini-PCs equipped with Ryzen 5000 series mobile processors.

Morefine Focus’s Mini-PC is called S500+, uses AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX processor, has 8 cores and 16 threads, and has a frequency of 4.6 GHz. It is the top model in the entire Zen 3 architecture APU product line code-named Cezanne. The Mini-PC can be configured with up to 32GB of DDR4-3200 memory or up to 4266 MT/s of LPDDR4 memory. It also provides two M.2 2280 SATA/NVMe slots and a 2.5-inch hard drive for easy expansion. It is also equipped with Wi-Fi 6 wireless network card and supports Bluetooth 5.0, provides DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.0 output, and has two network ports (one of which supports a 2.5G network card)

In addition, Minicforum, which focuses on Mini-PC, also issued a notice on its official Twitter, showing a rendering of a motherboard equipped with AMD Ryzen APU, but did not specify the specific model.

Neither Morefine Focus nor Minisforum has confirmed the price of Mini-PC equipped with Ryzen 5000 series mobile processors.
