The Firefox Nightly logo changes the fox to the dog

by ddos · March 2, 2021

Recently, a large number of netizens have participated in the evolution of the Firefox logo on Twitter. To be honest, many people are surprised that it can still cause popular discussions at this time.

Because the new logo of the Firefox browser has been enabled as early as 2019, some netizens are now discussing whether Firefox is going to erase the little fox completely.

The main reason is that the new logo has gradually been abstracted and no longer shows the very obvious fox as before. After discussion, Mozilla came out to clarify.

Mozilla stated that it will never delete the fox logo from the Firefox browser, but the upgrade of the logo with the change of the times makes the fox not so obvious.

After many netizens expressed their nostalgia for the previous Firefox logo, Mozilla changed the Firefox Nightly logo to the famous dog head.

We originally thought that the screenshots circulating on the Internet were fake, but we updated the Firefox browser and found the latest blog officially released by Mozilla.

It should be a period of time for the Firefox browser to use this logo in the Firefox Nightly version, of course, Firefox will not change back to the old fox logo.
